Kaboom! Fireworks Still for Sale around Rochester

Multiple fireworks tents around the Rochester area still have many items left for sale.

You've seen them around the city these past couple weeks.

But by the end of the day tomorrow, local fireworks tents will officially close up shop for the season.

If you are interested in getting your hands on some of these shiny noise-makers and wondering what's still for sale, you're in luck.

Thunder King Fireworks Manufacturers, who have set up near Rochester Road and Auburn in the Target Plaza, say there's still plenty to go around.

If you're on the hunt for large shell fireworks, which also happen to be Thunder King's best sellers, look for Black Mamba, Snake Eyes and Kiss of Death brands ($75-$100). These are some of the largest fireworks you can get legally and produce beautiful colors in the night.

Wish Lanterns ($8) are much smaller and lower to the ground and are designed to look like a "latern in the skies".

The most-classic of all the fireworks are Roman Candles ($5-$15) and Bottle Rockets (+$1) which are known for their loud noise-making.

If your kids want to join in on the fireworks fun, with adult supervision, of course, kids' variety packs start at $20 and contain snappers, sparklers and fountains. Adult variety packs (intended for backyard use only) range anywhere from $45-$500.

According to Thunder King, the safest of all fireworks is snap pops, which are just 50 cents.

Thunder King Fireworks will be open on July 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
