My life is news. Simply put, plain and simple.

I could not imagine choosing any career path in life other than being a journalist, that's why I am so grateful to have been a part of Patch since December 2010.

I received my B.A. from Oakland University a year ago, and have since been plowing full steam ahead into this crazy, never a dull moment, business.

I feel very fortunate to have been a part of Patch since its debut and have watched it grow into a truly reliable and trusted news source.

I work with many of the Patches in Oakland and Macomb Counties where I often fill in as a local editor as well as freelance by creating videos, writing articles and taking photographs around town, hoping to connect people with their communities on a personal level.

When I'm not "Patch-ing", I work at TV Warren, the city of Warren's cable access station where I report in, produce and edit segments for the city's weekly newscast, and other programs.

I have had tried to take every opportunity I can to immerse myself in journalism including a past internship at WDIV-TV in Detroit, a stint at State Champs! High School Sports Show and working with local public relations firms.

I am excited for the future and fully embrace each and every opportunity that comes my way.

Lastly, remember, I'm always on the hunt for my next story so if you have one to tell, feel free to connect with me!

Until next time.
