Rochester-Avon Historical Society Walking Tour

Put on your walking shoes and take a stroll through time with the Rochester-Avon Historical Society and their informative  downtown walking tour. The tours are perfect for new residents and old-timers alike!

Learn about downtown Rochester's historic sites and hear the incredible stories about the men, women and businesses that made our town what it is today. 

The summer/fall 2011 schedule has been posted. Tours will be held once a month starting Monday, June 20, 2011.  Evening tours begin at 7:00 p.m. (June, July, Aug.) Daytime tours begin at 1:00 p.m. (Sept., Oct.).

All tours begin at the northeast corner of the Western Knitting Mills building (currently the Rochester Mills Beer Company) on Water Street in downtown Rochester.  Rain or shine.
