Downtown Rochester's Sidewalk Sales Add Country Flavor

Sidewalk sales kick off Thursday, July 11 with country concert.

Shoppers at downtown Rochester's Sidewalk Sales this week might experience a bit of country flavor.

The sales, which kick off July 11, will feature a free country music concert, Nashville in the Neighborhood, presented by WYCD-FM, from 7-9 p.m. The concert will feature up-and-coming artists Dakota Bradley, Austin Webb and John Maison on Fourth between Main and Walnut in downtown Rochester.

“This is the first time we've partnered with (WYCD-FM) to do this," Rochester DDA events coordinator Stephanie Hellebuyk said. "We're just coming off the Great American Main Street Award, and what's more Americana than a country concert downtown?"
