Tropical Smoothie Cafe Plans Grand Opening in Rochester Hills
Rochester Hills location to mark grand opening with deals from June 3-6.
Owners of the Tropical Smoothie Cafe at 2913 Crooks Road and its staff of 20 employees will introduce their business to the community next week with a grand opening event from June 3-6.
The 2,400-square-foot Rochester Hills location is owned by Linden resident Joseph Dorsch, an Oakland University alumnus.
The location will celebrate its grand opening with $2 smoothies on Monday, as well as sample products and specials from June 3-6.
“Tropical Smoothie Café is a unique brand, with a bold, fresh, flavorful menu which is what attracted us to the business,” Dorsch said.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a national chain with more than 340 locations nationwide and features fruit smoothies, toasted sandwiches, flatbreads, wraps and gourmet salads. For those with vegetarian or vegan diets, the chain announced this week the use of chicken-free, plant-based strips that purport to look, feel and taste like actual chicken.
