About Sally
My husband, Gene, and I have five active kids aged 7 to 17. We have lived in the Rochester community for over 15 years and have been very active in the schools, local nonprofit organizations, and sports organizations. I am currently the President of Rochester PTA Council and the owner of Angle Communication, a business specializing in Community Relations and Event Management.
I have a passion for writing, a passion for kids and a passion for the Greater Rochester Community. So, of course, I was thrilled to be asked to write the Whiz Kid weekly column to help spotlight some of the amazing things our local kids are doing.
In my spare time, I have been accused of walking all over this town! I recently registered for my fifth Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure, an event that raises funds for important breast cancer research and education. We walk 60 miles in 3 days. As you can imagine, my training has taken me over just about every inch of the beautiful roads and trails in this area. We are very blessed with a fabulous community – natural beauty and wonderful people!
