A former high school language arts teacher, I quit my job seven years ago to stay home with my son after he was born, fully expecting that I would return to the teaching profession after I was done having children.

That all changed about two years ago when I started planning our first family trip to Walt Disney World.  Almost immediately, it became clear to me that a Disney vacation is completely unique.  In order to have a successful and memorable trip, a great deal of planning is necessary.  After many months and countless hours of preparation, I'd planned the Disney vacation of our dreams, and it was a trip we will never forget.  

When we returned home, I immediately began planning our next Disney trip, and I helped several friends plan theirs.  After lots of positive feedback, I started a Disney planning service called "The Magic Minus the Mayhem" so I could help other people have memorable Disney vacations by teaching them how to stay ahead of the crowds.

Seven years and two kids later, I am rejoining the workforce, although not as a teacher.  I've followed my passion and become a sub-agent with Ginger's Getaways, a local full-service travel agency where I specialize in booking and planning Disney vacations. 

Over the past two years, my family has made many priceless Disney vacation memories, and we've learned countless tricks that have helped us make the most of these vacations.  I can't wait to share some of them with you!
