Daryl is the Chief Executive Officer and majority owner of the Center for Professional Studies (CPS).  He is an executive with hands-on technical experience in delivering highly engineered vehicle programs for both domestic and international clients.  His strengths have been developed over years of executing engineering programs at every job classification.  He is known for a creative approach to marketing, problem solving, negotiations, program management, assembling strong technical teams and delivering profitable programs to the customer’s expectations.

CPS is a licensed school that was established in 1993 that has trained over 7,000 students for product development industries. www.cpspoly.com At CPS we focus on assessing an organization’s utilization of key industry standard tools and techniques.  Then we develop customize technical training curriculum for specific company application and provide leadership in the implementation of these methodologies.  Daryl has developed and instructed many of CPS’s technical and process improvement courses.  These courses include: Automotive Vehicle Development, Program Management, Lean Manufacturing, APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Dimensional Analysis (GD&T), PMP Certification, Root Cause Analysis, ISO 9000, TS 16949 and others.

Daryl is also the Principal and Owner of DP Technical Services LLC which he founded in 1998 to improve organization’s operational processes that reach from the front office to the plant floor. DP Technical Services has worked with multiple domestic and international OEM’s and suppliers in the automotive, software, military, agricultural, on-highway and off-highway industries.  We have also performed operational and market analysis for several Venture Capital groups in acquisition due diligence and operational improvements.

He has led numerous in-house and publicly offered training seminars and delivered technical speeches at the Society of Automotive Engineers, American Society of Body Engineers, Automation Alley, Central Michigan University and various engineering conferences.

Daryl is a member of the curriculum advisory board for Central Michigan University in their Vehicle Engineering Design Technology Bachelor and Master Degree programs.  He has also participated in the development of their BS certification test for graduates.

Daryl has a Bachelors degree from Wayne State University
and a Masters degree from Central Michigan University.  He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
