Pool Fatality: Rochester Hills Man Found Drowning at Rochester Estates Tuesday Night

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is awaiting autopsy results in the man's death.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is awaiting autopsy results following the death of a Rochester Hills man who was found drowning in a swimming pool at the Rochester Estates Mobile Home Park on July 10. Deputies were dispatched to the area after receiving a report of a possible drowning at the clubhouse. When they arrived on the scene, the pool attendant was already performing CPR on the 43-year-old victim. Emergency personnel from the Rochester Hills Fire Department then took over. According to the attendant, a witness had seen the man floating at the bottom of the pool. Bystanders had assisted in pulling him from the water and performing CPR. Body of Rochester Hills Man Found in Anchor Bay

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office says the death does not appear suspicious.

The body of a 58-year-old Rochester Hills man was discovered Thursday afternoon in Anchor Bay, according to the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff’s Office received a call around 12:30 p.m. that a body was in the water near the Lakeview Motel in the 10100 block of Dixie Highway in Ira Township. The Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Coast Guard and Ira Township Fire and Rescue responded to the scene.  "The man was found in about four feet of water. He had checked into the motel on Sunday and was last seen Wednesday night," according to a news release from the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office. Police are continuing to investigate the death. They said it does not appear to be suspicious at this time. The man’s name has not been released…
