Sweets, Treats to Fill Streets Sunday as Candy-Themed Parade Comes to Town

59th Annual Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade begins at 1:45 p.m.

With visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads and Christmas cheer filling their hearts, Rochester will watch the 59th Annual Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade roll down Main Street on Sunday. Wrapped in the delectable theme "Candy Lane on Main," the parade begins at 1:45 p.m. at the corner of Tienken and Rochester roads.  Dressed in layers, families, friends, neighbors and guests will line Rochester Road by the thousands to view the parade as it makes its way south to Third Street in downtown Rochester. Grand Marshal Botkin is Honored to Lead Hometown Christmas Parade

Leading the 59th Annual Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade on Sunday will be Grand Marshal Pat Botkin, managing director of The PrivateBank in Rochester. "I am so surprised and overwhelmed to be the Grand Marshal," said Botkin in a press release issued by the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce. "It is truly an honor, and I am blessed to both live and work in a wonderful community filled with caring people." Botkin has shared her time and philanthropic efforts with the Rochester community for more than 25 years.
