His co-worker kicks him off the live wire after seeing smoke and sparks coming from his body, police say.
A 25-year-old Plymouth man working on the roof of a Rochester Hills home struck a power line with a nail gun on Tuesday morning, police say. The man had smoke and sparks coming from his body, was kicked off the live power line — and off the roof — by a man working beside him, and lived to tell the story to the rescuers who responded to the scene. Oakland County Sheriff's deputies and the Rochester Hills Fire Department were called to the home in the 2000 block of Simpson Drive, near Livernois and Auburn roads, at 9:53 a.m. Tuesday, according to the report.
