Palace and Police: Those Bon Jovi Tickets May Be Fakes
Officials at Palace Sports & Entertainment are working with local police to solve a counterfeiting problem with concert tickets.
Before tickets to Bon Jovi's "Because We Can" tour went on sale Friday morning, officials at Palace Sports & Entertainment issued a clear warning: Beward of counterfeit tickets sold through unauthorized vendors. The Palace is cooperating with Michigan State Police after seeing a "significant increase in counterfeit tickets sold on the secondary market or classifieds sites, including discovering hundreds of fraudulent tickets for some concerts playing at The Palace and DTE Energy Music Theatre," according to a press release. The Palace also operates Meadow Brook Music Festival in Rochester.
