The Rainbow Connection

In its first 25 years, this nonprofit organizaton has granted more than 2,200 wishes to Michigan children withMore life-threatening medical conditions. From right here in Rochester to the corner of the Upper Peninsula, The Rainbow Connection makes dreams come true; trips to Disney World and a chance to meet famous musicians or athletes top the list of wishes.

In addition to granting wishes, The Rainbow Connection offers support services and scholarships for the children and their families.

Volunteer opportunities include office work, event planning and support.

Executive Director Mary Grace McCarter leads a team of staff and volunteers. Major annual fundraisers include the Celebration of Dreams holiday party and the Walk for Kids event in the fall.
