Adams High School opened its doors at the corner of Adams and Tienken Roads in 1970. Over the years, several…More expansions have been made to accommodate its growing enrollment; the school was fully renovated in 2000 and 2001.
One of three traditional high schools in the Rochester Community Schools District, Adams is home to the Highlanders and is immersed in Scottish tradition. It features a performing arts center that seats more than 500, a football field with artificial turf and a diverse offering of classes and vocational studies.
Veterinary science, computer aided design, food and nutrition, lifeguard training and music appreciation are some of the hundreds of courses students can experience at the school.
Kevin Cumming has led the school as principal since 2011.
