And you won't believe how they end their surprise performance during the school's spring concert.
It's not over until the principal shows off his juggling talents. That's a small hint at the ending of a flash mob dance performed by teachers and staff at Hampton Elementary School last week. It was the school's spring concert assembly; the flash mob was a surprise addition, evident by the students' screams of excitement. Principal Ryan Starr can be seen dancing — and juggling — on the right side of the screen. Patch loves flash mobs. Here's a look at other flash mob performances we have covered.

Fourth-graders trained with their teacher to run the Hometown Hustle 5K in memory of their classmate who died of cancer.
For 21 fourth-graders from Hamlin Elementary School, Saturday morning's Hometown Hustle 5K started with a wish. The students wrote messages on blue and orange balloons and released them into the air over Rochester just before the race began. The messages were wishes that they had for the family of Dominic Zeleznik, a classmate who passed away earlier this school year after battling cancer. "He was a great friend to all of the kids," said Kim Mroczek, the students' teacher who helped them train to run the 5K race in Dominic's memory. Mroczek, the students and some of their parents ran the race in T-shirts they designed in Dominic's honor. The shirts were the colors of the Detroit Tigers — his favorite team — and featured a quote from one …

Schools were first analyzed at the state level in terms of how well students in each school performed on state assessments. High schools that made it through that first analysis were then eligible to be ranked nationally, in terms of college readiness. This article explains, in-depth…

If school employee's keep getting their salaries cut, their benefits cut and their pensions cut; you won't have the dedicated people you have now. Yes, I agree there shouldn't be cuts to special ed.
