Home of the Vikings, Van Hoosen Middle School is located on Adams Road, north of Tienken and next to Adams High School. Principal Steve Cook leads a staff of 70 teachers and support staff. Approximately 765 students, grades six through eight, have a six-period day, including homeroom, four academic classes and two electives. Students are offered a variety of after-school activities, including enrichment classes, intramural sports, after-school care and athletics.
