My wife and I have been here a few times. Service is great along with the atmosphere and java, (Kona rocks!) This is run by a local family. If you get a chance try to talk to the father who is a partner with his kids, friendly and interesting! Local businesses are so important to our community. Best of luck and keep up the great service.

Great service and quality coffee roasting at its finest. This is the quintessential coffee shop that big brother coffee chains are running out of business. Let's support this business and subsequently this family. Had my first of many cappuccinos and conversations there this past weekend! God bless and wishing you the best Hamood Family! ~ Pastor Rodger Mangold (Turning Point Apostolic Ministries - Rochester)

The Dessert Oasis has absolutely the best coffee anywhere, hands down. It's fresh, flavorful and no bitterness!! I could almost drink it black. The desserts are to die for and the people are some of the friendliest and knowledgeable I know. I haven't been to the new place but if it's anything like the old one, it's a comfortable and pleasant place to just hang out. My only complaint is that it is in downtown Rochester which from a logistics perspective, I try to avoid. But for their coffee, it's worth it!

This place is awesome. I met a friend at 8AM for coffee and was pleasently greeted by Jamal's friendly conversation in addition to a quick education (which was very interesting) between their different coffees. As we waited at our table, Jamal brought out two vacuum brewers -- to see this science experiment in action is worth the visit alone. As a french-press user, I was surprised how clean and sediment-free the coffee was while retaining such an amazing flavor! As silly as it may sound, it was far beyond what I expected and has earned my future business.

The Dessert Oasis is unique, inviting and entertaining! There is live music often and the owners are incredibly friendly. The baristas are knowledgeable and passionate about coffee and the food is very fresh.

They have the best cappuchino in town! The atmosphere is very homey and the baristas are very talented.

I love the family atmosphere, the music, and the desserts! Also a wonderful place to stop by on a warm summer day and have a smoothie on their patio.

My husband & I go here at least every Friday night & often more frequently. Their desserts are great & as for the coffee! This is where we first actually tasted Kona coffee. I also love their take on spiced chai (aka the Dharma Bomb). Their cocoa is to intensely chocolate. My daughter loves the smoothies. The people are very friendly -- the owners are often on-site & outgoing -- & they are always innovating -- they now roast coffee on the premises.
