Bear Creek Nature Park

Bear Creek Nature Park is a 100-acre community area offering beautiful views as well as walking trails for are residents. The park was purchased by the township more than 30 years ago and is located between Snell and Gunn roads. The park offers handicap-accessible limestone trails and boardwalks, as well as a picnic pavilion, grills, playground area and restrooms. The park also has mowed trails throughout, which allow for hiking, biking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing and more, enabling residents to observe many of Michigan's varied wildlife. The pavilion area at the park is also available to rent for exclusive use for a $25 fee and a $25 refundable deposit.
