Mark from A&S came out today because my furnace was not turning on. Of course...when he arrived the furnace kicked on like it was supposed to! I am assuming it was the battery I installed in the thermostat and the dusting of the wires I did myself just before he arrived.
With no work to be done I assumed I would be charged the standard fee for showing up...which by the way is an outrageous $100! But no...I was charged an additional $60 repair fee. When asked what it was he repaired I was told that he found dust on the switch! Anyone who would charge me $60 to blow dust off of a wire is in my opinion a thief. Fair warning... whether you have something wrong or not...you will get charged for something before they leave your property.
I tried to contact the president of the company Dwayne Zysek to see if there was any way to make things right. He blew me off and would not return my phone calls.
