Visit the Tunnel of Terror

Those looking for a scare can stop by the Tunnel of Terror this weekend, presented by the Rochester Area Junior Chamber (Jaycees). The haunted house runs 7:30-10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, repeating each weekend in October. This weekend, proceeds will benefit the Rochester Area Neighborhood House Food Pantry. Admission for the Tunnel of Terror is $15, and the event takes place at Rochester Municipal Park.

Mike Rogers staffer to meet with constituents in Rochester

A staff member from the office of U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers will be available to meet with constituents from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Rochester City Hall.

Fire Prevention Week in Rochester Hills

It's Fire Prevention Week this week, and events will take place throughout Rochester Hills.

On Thursday, Oct. 11, residents will be able to see up close and personal numerous fire trucks, ambulances, rescue vehicles, helicopter and demonstration and enjoy some cider and spend time with their local firefighters. From noon-3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, residents can check out open houses at the following local fire stations:
  • Station 1 - 1111 Horizon Ct. 
  • Station 2 - 1251 E. Auburn 
  • Station 4 - 2723 Walton 
Those in attendance can meet the firefighters, tour the station, see the emergency vehicles, enjoy cider, doughnuts and more.
