Tonight marks the public forum for oil and gas drilling rights in Rochester.

A public forum about oil and gas drilling rights in Rochester and spooky scares in the Tunnel of Terror highlight this week in Rochester and Rochester Hills.

At 7 p.m. on Monday, Rochester residents will have a chance to speak out about oil and gas drilling rights in Rochester. Jordan Development Company is looking to strike a deal with the city to permit horizontal drilling deep beneath the surface of city-owned land. The public forum will take place at Rochester City Hall. 

Tunnel of Terror resumes this week in Rochester

Those looking for a scare can stop by the Tunnel of Terror this weekend, presented by the Rochester Area Junior Chamber (Jaycees). The haunted house runs 7:30-10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, repeating each weekend in October. This weekend, proceeds will benefit the Rochester Area Neighborhood House Food Pantry. Admission for the Tunnel of Terror is $15, and the event takes place at Rochester Municipal Park.
