Blood Drive, Prep Football: Plan Your Week In and Around Rochester

Happy Monday! Here is what's going on this week in and around Rochester.

1. Donate Blood at Rochester Hills City Hall
Rochester Hills is seeking blood donors Tuesday. The city is hosting a blood drive from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday at Rochester Hills City Hall, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive. If you would like to donate, call (248) 656-4708 to make an appointment.

2. Prep Football Kicks Off This Week
Show your team spirit this week as Rochester's prep football teams kick off their 2013 seasons. Adams hosts Clarkston at 7 p.m. Saturday, Rochester is at Utica at 7 p.m. Thursday and Stoney Creek travels to Royal Oak at 7 p.m. Thursday. 

3. Children's Activities at Downtown Rochester Farmers' Market
Grab some fresh produce and find some activities for your young ones this Saturday at the Downtown Rochester Farmers' Market. The featured exhibition this Saturday is World through the Eyes of Children Children’s Art Activities.  Located at the corner of E. Third and Water Street in downtown Rochester, the Farmers' Market runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.

4. Outdoor Smoking , Marijuana Ordinances at Tonight's Rochester City Council Meeting
The Rochester City Council will meet at 7 p.m. today at 400 Sixth Street in Rochester. You can view the full agenda here

5. Visit OU's Organic Farm Stand
Looking for another fresh and organic produce option? Check out Oakland University's  Organic Farm Stand on campus between the Oakland Center and the library from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. each Thursday through Oct. 30. The event is open to everyone.
