Paint Creek Crawl Cycling Event

The Friends of the Paint Creek Trail are hosting the 1st Paint Creek Crawl Cycling Event on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 9:00am-1:00pm in celebration of  National Trails Day® (NTD) 2011.  Encompassing the entire Paint Creek Trail and business districts from Rochester to Lake Orion, participants will collect five unique "stamps" from various locations to be entered in a prize drawing.  The Grand Prize is a $500 Gift Card to Rochester Bike Shop!

 As a fundraiser for the Friends of the Paint Creek Trail, a 501 (c)(3) organization, all proceeds will benefit future enhancements of the Paint Creek Trail.  Pre-registration cost is $20, with a $25 cost the day of the event.  Registration forms will also be available at the Green Living Festival on May13-15.  All registered participants will receive a T-Shirt and continental breakfast.  Online registration and printable registration forms are available online at www.paintcreektrail.org and will be available the day of the event starting at 8:00am.  The event will begin at 9:00am at the Paint Creek Cider Mill, 4480 Orion Road, in Oakland Township, and the ride is approximately 20 miles round trip.  Registered participants will receive a special entry card to collect the stamps, with a drawing at 1:00pm.  Many other great prizes have been donated by local businesses. 

             The Paint Creek Crawl is sponsored by Innovative Chiropractic and All About Me Wellness Spa in Rochester Hills, Flagstar Bank, Rochester Bike Shop, Rochester Mills Beer Co, Times Square Deli and Restaurant, and many others.
