For those seeking a rewarding way to help people and meet others with the same passion, joining the volunteers at Crittenton Hospital Medical Center might be a good place to start.
Joining the Crittenton Auxiliary is easy. You need to be at least 18 years of age, attend an orientation meeting, agree to undergo a background check and, once approved, you will be on your way to making a difference in others' lives.
The orientation meetings are held on the first Tuesday during the months of January through May, and September through November. You should arrive in the front lobby of the hospital by 1:30 p.m. The people at the front desk will direct you from there. The group's next meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 3.
