Photo of the Day: Rochester Barista 'Stitches' Together Recent Rainbow

Bryan Clifford took this panoramic photo with his phone looking north from outside the Rochester Road Starbucks.

Here's a picture you don't see every day: a double rainbow, practically from start to finish.

Bryan Clifford, who works at the Starbucks on South Boulevard in Troy, looked north during a recent rain vs. sunshine battle and captured this double rainbow over Rochester Hills.

"I took it with my iPhone on an app called AutoStitch," Clifford said. "It was a series of nine photos and it stitched them all together. It was the only way I could capture the grand scale of it.

"Everyone else was just getting a portion of the rainbow, I was able to capture the whole thing."

Clifford worked at the former Starbucks in downtown Rochester. He is a lifelong resident of the city.

And the rainbow is over Troy, not Rochester. Still a great shot.
