Lip-Synching Guys' Michigan Road Trip Video Tour Will Stop in Rochester Hills

The city is one of more than 50 stops in the Pure Michigan project next week.

Quick: You're road-tripping through Michigan and stop in Rochester Hills. What to do? Who to see?

Jeff Barrett and Rob Bliss are looking to figure it out as they embark on a weeklong road trip through the state and document their journey via video.

You may already know Barrett and Bliss from their popular Grand Rapids LibDub video, a tour of their hometown to the tune of "American Pie." (Watch the video above, or see it here.)

According to a blog post on Pure Michigan, the duo will create an "energetic digital video that highlights various things the state has to offer. The video will serve as a way to help tell the story of Michigan as a great place to live, work, play and build a business."

According to the report, it will all take place in an "Imported from Detroit" Chrysler.

The journey will begin Sunday and end Aug. 26. The Rochester Hills stop is planned for Wednesday. On that same day, the tour will stop in Novi, St. Clair Shores and Ann Arbor. (There's an interactive map attached to this story; it can also be found here.

To find out where they'll be, follow along on Twitter at @BarrettAll. Barrett will tweet live updates; the public is encouraged to participate in the filming.

Rochester Patch will post updates about the tour on our Facebook page as the day approaches.

Where in town do you think the video tour should stop?
