Details: The FHortyworks celebration marks the city's 40th anniversary and begins at 7 pm with entertainment, refreshments, games, bouncers, face painting and more. Everything is free and open to the public.

Details: Spectators will set up lawn chairs and blankets along Ludlow Avenue ahead of the display, which caps a week of festivities in Huntington Woods. Parking will be restricted along Ludlow, Scotia and nearby streets, so visitors are encouraged to walk or ride their bikes to the celebration.

Details: The festivities will begin at 8 p.m. with a "Concert in the Park" featuring the talents of the Downriver Community Band. The Trenton Lions Club and Trenton Ice Cream Shop will be selling refreshments at Rotary Park throughout the evening. Families are also encouraged to bring a blanket and a picnic dinner.

Details: Sparks in the Park is a large community event in Highland. The event kicks off at 3 p.m. with The Great Campout. At 4 p.m. food and market vendors open up and musical entertainment starts. There will be children's activities from 5-9 p.m. and the firework show will start at 10 p.m.
