Rochester Hills NASCAR Driver Keselowski Takes First Laps on Repaved MIS

He'll be racing in Michigan again today.

Brad Keselowski, the championship NASCAR driver from Rochester Hills, made history Tuesday in taking the first laps on a newly paved racetrack at Michigan International Speedway.

Keselowski also broke the qualifying record at the Brooklyn track.

“The track should be ready to go in record time for a repave," said Keselowski, who was the first car out on the track for the Goodyear Tire test on Tuesday afternoon. "It should be in great shape when we come back here for the race.”
