President Barack Obama will honor NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Brad Keselowski of Rochester Hills on Tuesday at the White House, according to USA Today.

According to the report, the president will recognize both Keselowski's sporting accomplishments and his efforts to give back to the community.

Additionally, the report indicated, the Rochester Hills driver will meet with wounded troops during his visit.

Keselowski beat Jimmie Johnson to win the Sprint Cup in November.

Keselowski made national headlines this weekend after lashing out at NASCAR after having parts from his Ford confiscated during a pre-race inspection.

According to USA Today, NASCAR took the rear-end housing on both Keselowski's and Joey Logano's cars. Further penalties are expected early this week, the report indicated.

Keselowski said he feels NASCAR is targeting his Penske Racing team, according to the report.

"The things I've seen over the last seven days have me questioning everything I believe in, and I'm not happy about it," he told reporters.
