OU Will Face Texas in First Round of NCAA Tournament
The Golden Grizzlies and hundreds of fans anxiously await the NCAA to announce who OU plays first in the March Madness tournament.

6:49 p.m. OU Coach Greg Kampe says he is not surprised about No. 13 seed; he will be watching tape from Texas tonight.
6:37 p.m. Michigan State gets 10th seed. Will play No. 7 UCLA on Thursday in Tampa.

6:35 p.m. The crowd is filing out of the O'Rena. On the television, at least one announcer is saying OU has a chance to beat Texas.

6:20 p.m. Just announced: OU a No. 13 seed. They'll play the Texas Longhorns (a No. 4 seed) on Friday in Tulsa. Moments before, a mixture of cheers and booing from the crowd as Michigan received a No. 8 seed to play Tennessee.
6:13 p.m. East Bracket announced: No. 1, Ohio State, No. 2, North Carolina, No. 3, Syracuse, No. 4, Kentucky. No Oakland University, phew!
6:03 p.m. Oakland fans give a hefty "boo" as Ohio State is awarded the No. 1 seed overall in the tournament. Ohio State defeated Oakland 92-63 on Dec. 23.
5:55 p.m. It's about five minutes until the show starts and the brackets are unveiled. The OU band, cheerleaders and dance team are celebrating by the players as they anticipate the show.
5:20 p.m. The Golden Grizzlies, cheerleaders, the dance team and hundreds of fans are filing into the O'Rena. The show begins at 6 p.m.
Spirits are high and excitement is in the air while the big screen shows a replay of Oakland's win against Oral Roberts — the win that clinched a berth in the 'big dance."
