Former Adams, Stoney Players To Star in Bowl Game at Ford Field Wednesday

Cody Wilson, Eric Fisher and the CMU Chippewas will take on Western Kentucky in Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.

Cody Wilson, a former all-star captain at Adams High School, will try to lead Central Michigan to a bowl victory Wednesday night at Ford Field.

The Chippewas take on the Western Kentucky at 7:30 p.m. in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl. (Click here for tickets and more information.) 

Wilson, a wide receiver, ranks third all-time in CMU's history with 220 career receptions and fifth all-time in CMU's history with 2,628 career receiving yards.

His streak of 41 consecutive games with a reception ranks second in the NCAA. 

In an online chat with the Detroit Free Press last week, Wilson said he was "just trying to soak in all my last experiences as a Chippewa" and that "that's why I came to CMU, to win championships, and that will be happening again very shortly."
