Ditch your car and take a bike to during this year's 'Two-Wheelin' it to Rochester' event!
This promotional, pedestrian-friendly occasion is happening July 28 from 9 a.m - 5 p.m.
The event encourages the community to eat, shop and be merry in downtown Rochester, all by way of a bicycle.

Did you know that in 2011, 8 new bike racks were installed in and around downtown at the request of Rochester’s Green City Committee?
To help raise awareness about the bike racks and the ease of access to downtown Rochester from local neighborhoods and regional trails, the Green City Committee and the DDA are hosting this new event: Two-Wheelin’ It to Rochester, on Saturday, July 28, 2012.
Two-Wheelin’ it to Rochester will consist of a business promotion for bikers, a Bike Information Booth at Farmer’s Market, and a Bike Scavenger Hunt with bike-themed prizes. There will be advertising to the community and bike groups around the area to encourage people to ride downtown, park their bikes, shop, eat and enjoy all Rochester has to offer.
• The information and check-in booth is at the Farmers Market – They will have a list of participating businesses at the tent and online
• Some businesses will be offering free shipping of purchases to bikers
• Some businesses will have a little something extra for bikers only
Just be sure to carry your helmet to participate in the discounts and specials around town.
