Spring on the Farm

The Friends of Dinosaur Hill will be taking the popular Pioneer Homestead and Playground to the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm to be a part of the Museum’s Spring On the Farm program.

Work and play like yesterday at the pioneer dress-up log cabin and then get to work on kitchen chores, laundry using scrub boards, grinding corn, making corn cob dolls, bean bags, quilt squares and carpentry projects, and hunting for eggs in the haystack.

There will be time to play on stilts, bowl with rutabagas, make music on a music tree and other games located at the pioneer site near the 1840’s Farmhouse.
