Detroit Lions Sign Adams Grad Cody Wilson

Wide receiver played for Central Michigan.

Another Central Michigan standout with Rochester-area ties is getting a shot in the NFL.

Adams alumnus Cody Wilson has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions, according to the Morning Sun. Wilson will join Chippewas teammates Eric Fisher—who was chosen last week with the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft—in the NFL.

According to MLive, Wilson, the son of Kensington Church pastor Dave Wilson, had a team-high 74 receptions for 840 yards with three touchdowns in 2012.
