Brooksie Way Half Marathon: Top 20 Rochester-Rochester Hills Finishers
Here are the top 20 finishers from Rochester and Rochester Hills in Sunday's Brooksie Way half marathon.
More than 2,600 runners set off on the Brooksie Way half marathon race Sunday morning in Rochester, part of about 6,200 total runners and walkers in the event's three core races.
The Rochester area had a strong showing in the half marathon, with its 20 top runners all finishing in the top 82 runners overall.
Finishing first among Rochester-Rochester Hills residents in the half marathon was Tim Rowland, 27, of Rochester Hills, with a clock time of 1:18:17, good for fifth place overall. Among the women, Caryn Maxwell, 44, of Rochester Hills, finished with a clock time of 1:34:45, good for 106th overall.
