Threat of Extreme Winter Weather Closes Area Schools
Rochester Community Schools, Oakland University, Rochester College, Avondale School District among those canceling classes Tuesday.
The threat of extremely cold weather has prompted school officials to again cancel Tuesday classes throughout Rochester Community Schools and Avondale School District in what has shaped up to be a brutally cold January.
The following schools and district have canceled Tuesday classes:
- Rochester Community Schools
- Avondale School District
- Brookfield Academy-Rochester
- Holy Family Regional North
- Holy Family Regional South
- Living Word Lutheran
- Lutheran High NW
- Oakland University
- Rochester College
- Rochester Hills Christian
- St. John Lutheran-Rochester
