School Board Members Will Be Sworn in Wednesday

A special meeting of the Rochester Board of Education will also include the election of board officers.

Newly elected Rochester Board of Education members Jane Pierobon and Pat Piskulich, as well as returning board member Beth Talbert, will take their oaths of office this week.

A special meeting is planned for 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Harrison Room of the . The meeting is open to the public.

Pierobon, Piskulich and Talbert were elected in November to six-year terms on the school board.

After the trustees are sworn in, board members will elect new officers for 2012.

In addition, the board is expected to approve the recommendation of . Romzek will replace William Mull, who retires this year.

Regular board meetings are planned this school year on the following dates:

  • Jan. 9 and 23
  • Feb. 6 and 27
  • March 12 and 26
  • April 16 and 30
  • May 7 and 21
  • June 4 and 18
