Save the Date for the 2013 Hometown Hustle 5K

Proceeds for this run/walk benefit the Rochester Community Schools Foundation.

For the eighth year, the Hometown Hustle is inviting familes to celebrate fitness — and raise money for the school's foundation.

The annual Hometown Hustle is planned for Saturday, May 11 in Rochester. Last year, 850 kids and adults participated in the event, which starts and ends at the School Administration Building on University Drive.

“The Hometown Hustle raised $22,000 for the Rochester Community Schools Foundation in 2012, allowing the Foundation, which recently awarded $19,000 in grants to Rochester Community Schools initiatives, to increase its grant giving capacity for student scholarships and mini-grants to educators and cultural and athletic programs,” said Debbi Hartman, manager of the foundation.
