FREE ACT Workshop

With the ACT/MME around the corner for our new Juniors, many of you have taken the ACT at least once by now. Are you happy with your ACT score? Do you have enough confidence in your ACT score and GPA to enroll in your choice of college? Do you see room for improvement?

The ACT Assessment is a standardized examination designed to assess high school students’ general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. You DON’T need a ACT score… unless you want to go to college. Most colleges have average ACT standards for admission purposes. The college ACT standard is a key to identify if a student can handle the program or not.

Only 36 percent of first-time freshmen entering four-year bachelor degree programs actually complete their degrees in four years. 26 percent take either five or six years. The remaining 38 percent either don’t get their degrees at all, or complete their coursework in more than six years. To have an ACT score in the range of your college’s standard could lead to enrollment and graduation.
