For students, the long break is over. For parents—finally!—some relief.
Rochester and Avondale students are scheduled to return to class Thursday after three consecutive snow days following winter break. Classes had been halted throughout the week following a winter blast that coated roads in snow and ice and chilled the area with wind chills measuring well below zero degrees.
As of 9 p.m. Wednesday, neither district had canceled classes, indicating school will finally resume Thursday.
