Adams Choirs Will Sing a Little Journey, a Little Robert Frost

Performance is Wednesday night and open to the public.

choirs will perform for the community on Wednesday night. The concert is free and begins at 7:30 p.m. in the school's auditorium.

Choir director Thomas Blue said three choirs will perform eight songs during the performance.

  • The Concert Choir will sing Let the Whole Earth Stand in Awe by G.F. Handel from his Chandos Anthem and Barter by Frank DeWald, a Michigan composer.
  • The Advanced Women's Chorale will sing Stopping By Woods On a Snowy Evening with music by Ruth Artmann and poetry by Robert Frost and Oh! Had I Jubal's Lyre by G.F. Handel.
  • The Chamber Choir will sing At the Round Earth's Imagined Corners with music by Williametta Spencer and poetry by John Donne and Sing A Mighty Song by Daniel Gawthrop, a popular American choral composer. They will also sing Don't Stop Believin', which was made popular by Journey and arranged this time by Roger Emerson (as featured on the TV series "Glee.")
  • The Combined Choirs will sing Follow Rain and Rivers by Robert Gielas.
