First Concert of the RSO Season

The Rochester Symphony Orchestra, along with conductor Clark Suttle, opens its 2013-2014 Season with the concert  IT’S A NEW WORLD  featuring the musically alluring sounds of the New World Symphony by Dvorak.

 

The RSO is also proud to present the beautiful and talented artist, XIAO DONG WEI, who will play on a ERHU, a two-stringed instrument, the enchanting Red Plum Capriccio with the orchestra.  She has performed worldwide and was awarded the Kresge Fellowship Award by the Kresge Foundation.

The concert will take place in the Stoney Creek High School Auditorium, Rochester, MI at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 4.  Parking is free.  Contact the Box Office for tickets 248-651-4181.
