It's the First Day of Summer
It's the longest day and shortest night of the year: the 2012 Summer Solstice. At the library, they celebrated with ice cream.
Okay, it doesn't officially become summer until around 7 this evening, but close enough for me. With temps climbing into the mid-90's it certainly feels like summer outside. The Rochester Hills Public Library welcomed summer in style with a free ice cream social. I've included some pictures from the ice cream social as well as some other traditional signs of summer.
