Rochester Hills City Council will consider Monday night a $116,667 cost participation agreement with the Road Commission for Oakland County related to the reconstruction and widening of

The Tienken Road project will begin in 2013 and be finished in 2014. It will include a roundabout at Tienken and Livernois roads.

Up for discussion on Monday night are right-of-way acquisitions of nine properties that will be affected by the project. The total right-of-way acquisition costs are estimated at about $3.5 million; the cost will be shared by the Michigan Department of Transportation, the Road Commission for Oakland County and by federal funding.

Also during the meeting, Nick Gajdzik, , will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
