Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan will appear at a Republican campaign rally at Oakland University tonight.
The event is open to the public; tickets are free and can be ordered online now or picked up at area campaign offices starting this morning. The rally starts at 7 p.m. at the Athletics Center O'rena, the site of a GOP presidential debate last fall.
Kid Rock is expected to introduce Ryan at the event, according to reports.
The event, called a "Victory Rally," will occur four nights before the debate between Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden; that debate is planned for 8 p.m. Thursday.
For Ryan, the rally at OU follows a morning rally in Swanton, Ohio.
