Rochester City Council to Talk Budget, Appointments at Tonight's Meeting

City Council meets 7 p.m. today at Rochester City Hall.

The Rochester City Council will talk about the city's budget and appointments to various boards and commissions when it meets 7 p.m. today at Rochester City Hall, 400 Sixth Street in Rochester.

The City Council will consider resolutions regarding its budget adoption for the 2013-14 fiscal year and recognizing the city's receipt of the prestigious Great American Main Street award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. 

The council also will consider appointments to 31 seats on several boards and commissions, including mayor appointments to the Downtown Development Authority, Planning Commission and Principal Shopping District and City Council appointments to the Board of Ethics, Compensation Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals.
