Rochester City Council OK's Liquor License Transfer, Looks to Fill Board Vacancies

The Rochester City Council met July 9.

The Rochester City Council held a regular meeting Monday night at .

Two public hearings set for the night both approved considerations that were brought forth. The Council approved the move of a liquor license transfer from the former at 543 Main Street to the new Mama Mia Restaurant. Furthermore, a conditional re-zoning request was also approved for the Carriage House Bed and Breakfast at 147 North Lane. 

As listed as the first item under the "Reports and Regular Business" section of the agenda, there are multiple open boards and commissions seats that need to be filled. There is an open spot on the Rochester Historical Commission, Historical District Study Committee and a liaison to the Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve. To fill out an application, click here.
