Romney Wins in Rochester, Rochester Hills

Here are the results from Tuesday's primary election.

In Rochester and Rochester Hills, voters chose Mitt Romney over Rick Santorum in casting their votes in the Republican Presidential Primary on Tuesday.

In Rochester Romney edged Santorum 1026 to 466; there were a total of 1,824 Republican votes cast. Romney won all five precincts in Rochester.

In Rochester Hills, Romney received 5,464 votes to Santorum's 3,087. Santorum won in three of the city's 32 precincts.

Romney, who has campaigned heavily in the state over the past two weeks, was declared the winner in the state; he also won the Arizona primary on Tuesday.

In Rochester, voter turnout was 21 percent; in Rochester Hills, the turnout was 13 percent. Voter turnout in Oakland County was 19 percent.

OK - how is it that Arizona can call the winner at 8:45pm EST with 0% of the vote?? Thank goodness Michigan actually waits to count the votes.
