Poll: What Color Should the Brooksie Way T-Shirts Be?

Orange? Black? Pink? Patch readers can help the race committee decide.

We told you when the race is: Sept. 30.

And you already know where it is: on the hills and trails around Rochester and Rochester Hills.

But what color will the runners and walkers for the be wearing?

That's one question that has yet to be answered by race leaders, and they are looking to Patch readers for some guidance.

Last year, Brooksie Way shirts were red. In 2010 they were bright yellow and in the two years before that, they were white.

This year, race co-chairman Paul Coughlin said the shirt color has been narrowed down to three choices: black, a hot pink color called "brite" and a flashy orange. 

We asked Coughlin and race leaders if we could poll Patch readers to help guide their decision. While they said , the race's founder, ultimately would have the final say, they agreed a little advice wouldn't hurt.
