"I personally appreciate the sacrifices Rep. McMillin made in stepping up to take on the role of interim chairperson. He did great work for the kids of our state in a role he did not seek but in which he performed exceptionally well. It is now Rep. Lyons’ turn to be an outstanding leader as our Education Committee continues to do what's right in reforming the educational system for the benefit of Michigan's children."
